'What is Jesus Doing Right Now?'

Hebrews 1:3 NIV
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

This weekend I spent a good portion of time researching one question. The question was this: What is Jesus doing right now? Here's what I found (this list is not everything!):

He is sitting “down at the right hand of” God (Hebrews 1:3)
He is RADIATING God's own glory (Hebrews 1:3)
He is EXACTLY REPRESENTING the Father (Hebrews 1:3)
He is reigning with all “angels, and authorities and powers in submission to Him” (1 Peter 3:22)
He is “sustaining all things by His powerful Word” (Hebrews 1:3)
He is serving as our “high priest,” our “minister in the sanctuary” of heaven (Hebrews 8:1-2)
He is appearing “in the presence of God for us” (Hebrews 9:24)
He is sanctifying us (Hebrews 2:11)
He is coming “to the aid of those who are tempted” (Hebrews 2:18)
He is sympathizing “with our weaknesses” as “One...tempted in all things as we are” (Heb.4:14-16)
He is giving us “mercy” and “grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16)
He “ALWAYS LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION for” those who have faith in Him (Heb. 7:25)
He constantly “INTERCEDES for us” (Romans 8:34)
He is acting as our “ADVOCATE,” pleading our cause before the Father (1 John 2:1)
He is “waiting...until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet” (Hebrews 10:12-13)
He is disciplining “those He loves, and he” is punishing “everyone He accepts as a son” (Heb. 12:6,11)
He does this to produce a “harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it”
He is HELPING us, so we don't have to be afraid (Hebrews 13:6)
He is being “the SAME yesterday and today, yes and forever” (Hebrews 13:8)
He is EQUIPPING “you in every good thing to do His will” (Hebrews 13:20)
He is “WORKING IN US that which is pleasing in His sight” (Hebrews 13:21)
He is holding “together” the body of Christ, growing and building it “up in love” (Ephesians 4:16)
He eyes “are upon” those who belong to Him, and “His ears attend” to their prayers (1 Peter 3:12)
He is giving us “His divine power” so we have “everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him” (2 Peter 1:3)
He is giving us His divine power, Word, and promises so we “escape the corruption of the world caused by evil desires” (2 Peter 1:4)
He is being “PATIENT toward you,” and “patient” with those who have not yet come to Him (2 Pet.3:9)
He is forgiving our confessed sins and cleansing “us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9)
He is preparing a glorious, everlasting “place for you” (John 14:2)
He is strengthening You “with power through His Spirit in the inner man” (Ephesians 3:16, Phil. 4:13)
He is rooting you and grounding you “in His love” (Ephesians 3:17)
He is LOVING you with ”the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:17-19)
He is meeting “ALL your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19)
He is giving you His “peace” (John 14:27)
He is with “you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20)...

Beloved in Christ: this is quite a list...and it's NOT everything! Take time today to praise your wonderful Savior, who is doing so much for you “at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven”...right NOW!

AMEN!!!
