'Don't Forget!'

Jude 1:1-2 NLT
This letter is from Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and a brother of James.

I am writing to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ.

May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love.

Don't forget today, Brothers and Sisters...

Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ”
Don't forget that “Our apostle (Jude) calls himself a servant of Jesus Christ” because it's the “most honorable title. It is more honorable to be a sincere and useful servant of Christ than to be an earthly king” or a biological brother of our Lord (which he was). “He might have claimed kindred to Christ according to the flesh, but he waives this, and rather glories in being his servant” (Matthew Henry). We too ought to “glory” in being our Lord's “slave!”

“...to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you...
Don't forget today that You've been “called by GOD...and He “LOVES you!” You've been called to be His beloved, obedient child...and “NOTHING can ever separate us from His love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ.”
Don't forget today that You are kept safe for Jesus, and BY Jesus! Your Savior died for you, He forgives you, He's given you a new nature, He's shared His Father with you, He's interceding for you, He is with you, He enables you to do everything He calls you to do (through His strength), He is making you “pure and holy by teaching” you through His Spirit and through His “Words of truth” (John 17:17), and He will bring You home! You are “safe in the care of Jesus!

Don't forget these, beloved! “May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love” today!

AMEN!!!
